Jharkhand College was established on 5th Sep 1985 by the fund raised from the contribution of social workers, eminent scholars and visionaries of Dumri, to provide higher education to the students of this remote area. The college has deposited Rs 5,50000/- as security money with Vinova Bhave University Hazaribagh.

Aid from Government of jharkhand

The College receives aid from Government of Jharkhand. The aid is granted on the basis of strength of students. At present the college receives an aid of Rs 60 Lakhs
